OnceMore® join forces with LSJH to recycle household textile waste
OnceMore® are glad to announce the status of the ongoing and successful partnership with Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto (LSJH) which started nearly two years ago – an excellent example of textile-to-textile collaboration in Scandinavia.
LSJH is a Finnish municipal waste management company who are focusing on finding circulatory solutions for all household textile waste in Finland. LSJH and OnceMore® shares the same mission to be an active player in the European textile industry transition into a real circular economy.
- We at OnceMore® are very proud to have LSJH as a partner. They are pioneering solutions for post-consumer textile waste collected from households, a valuable feedstock that holds significant potential in our view. The success of this collaboration, between OnceMore® and LSJH, relies on good communication, high material quality, steady flow and long-term commitment to further develop partnership as both companies share a common goal - to reduce the existing textile waste problem for households. Recent advances in OnceMore® processing have made it possible to utilize even more diverse feedstock material from LSJH.
- Finding solutions for heterogeneous household end-of-life textiles might seem like an impossible task. We sort by material content to offer our customers a portfolio of GRS-certified products to meet their feedstock needs, says Anna Garton, Post-Consumer Textiles Expert at LSJH.
