Fibre Education: Together we’re better!

This year’s Fibre Education will take place over two days in early June. As always, it is open to anyone within your company, but we welcome especially those who may be new to the business. This year, as Customer Experience Manager, Hannah Stenberg, explains, might also be the ideal time for sustainability directors and marketing managers to join us.

“This is always a great opportunity to gain a greater understanding of our value chain, with a mill tour and a visit to a Södra forest estate and nursery as well as presentations, discussions and networking. We are still deciding the final programme, but in line with the most topical issues of the day, we will have a focus on sustainability and discussing everything from Science-Based Targets and preparing for the EUDR to our Conscious Delivery initiative to minimise the carbon footprint of deliveries. As usual, the bigger picture will be complemented by presentations that drill down into more technical aspects of the pulp process such how we treat our fibre for optimal performance in our customers’ mills and the role of R&D and innovation.
