Södra gets top marks again for sustainability
Södra has once again been rated among the top 1% in terms of sustainability for companies assessed in the international packaging, pulp, and paper sector. The independent French research company EcoVadis conducts the survey every year, providing business sustainability ratings for those included in the report. The survey is based on 21 criteria in four different fields: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
“With a Group strategy focused on sustainability, I am delighted and proud that we have continued to improve Södra’s work in sustainability in particular. Our high rating is proof that we are heading in the right direction,” said Södra’s Director of Sustainability, Anders Norén. “For all our customers, the importance of a sustainable value chain is of ever-increasing importance. We never rest on our laurels, and we are always striving to improve in every aspect of our work, but independent surveys such as this provide added peace of mind for all.”
