A note for UK customers
As the UK is one of Södra Cell’s most important markets, it was a great relief when the UK and the EU finalised their free trade agreement at the end of last year.
“There will be no duties on goods from Sweden to the UK, however we do anticipate that customs declarations and other administration will take longer, at least initially,” says Henrik Wettergren, Södra Cell International’s Vice President.
“There is a risk that we could see some disruption in the early days, perhaps with queues at UK ports and delays to trucks, for example. For that reason, we are doing all we can to ensure our customers in the UK experience the minimum disruption possible. We are handling shipments to UK terminals so that customers need only worry about paperwork within the UK.”
