Dear all, We are really looking forward to welcoming you to Sweden! It’s been two years since we’ve all met in person, even longer for some. Some of our colleagues appointed during the pandemic have never met up in person. So, it really is important that we meet next month, to get to know new colleagues and renew friendships with old ones. It will be a normal working week, but with us all working from the same base in Växjö, culminating in a conference together on the Thursday.
The agenda for the week will be continuously updated and can be accessed on INCA.

Join us Tuesday – It’s our round!
From 5 pm on Tuesday evening we will forget about work and relax in the Swedish spring air -we are hoping the weather will be kind and that we can lay out some picnic rugs in the sunshine, enjoying our gorgeous surroundings on the lawn overlooking the lake here at HQ, while savoring a cold beer (or two) and an informal bite to eat with colleagues. This is a chance to sit down, wind down and chill together – the beer’s on us!
We may throw in a few games to help everyone get to know each other as some colleagues from other departments may join us - but the atmosphere will be informal and chilled – join in if you feel energetic or if you don’t, just soak up the sun (we are optimists!).
No registration, just show up!

Wednesday 9 am -noon: Say cheese!
Give it your best shot! Please take a few minutes at some point Wednesday morning to pop up to level 5 and take new business photos/ portraits. The photos will be taken by our professional photographer, Lina – no appointment necessary, just turn up before lunch for indoor shots and between 13:00-15:00 for outdoor shots. Lina will take shots both inside in the office and outside in our grounds and we’d love you to do both. It’s so useful to have new photos whenever we quote any of you in our communications and Lina is sure to bring out your best side! The only rule is to avoid shirts with a distracting pattern such as colourful stripes.

Wednesday pm: Ideas for free time
We promised you a few more details on things to do during your free time:
• If you like the idea of a guided tour of Växjö, you can explore the city’s history together with an actor as guide. The guide, in the role of Växjö´s former governor, Anders Koskull, will take you on a dramatized walking tour through old streets and historic squares and alleyways. An interactive theatrical guided tour in Växjö, the county seat of Kronoberg!
Length: 1 hour and 15 minutes – starts at 19.00
Location: Växjö city centre– starting at the main entrance to the Cathedral
Price: free (it’s on us)

• Golf: Even beginners can give golf a try! Pär and Knut will lead the group which will meet at Växjö Golf Club at 17:00 on Wednesday for a quick coffee and cake before going out. No previous experience needed. We’ll start by hitting balls on the driving range for an hour before trying a few short holes on the short-hole course, ending around 19-19.30. Balls and clubs can be hired on site, we’ll cover all the costs. Just wear clothes suitable for the weather and trainers if possible if you don’t have golf shoes. *Fredric Bohm is a qualified psychologist, therapist and author familiar to Swedes for his regular television and radio appearances. He is currently Development Manager at one of Sweden's leading consultancies with assignments for both Swedish and international organizations. As a therapist and coach, his clients include some of the top Swedish sports and business personalities as well as politicians. His published works include "What if – attitude psychology – about the art of being brave" and "Conflict management – practical handbook for the employer and managers". We are very excited to have him speak at our event.
