Starting at 07:00 (CEST Central European Summer Time) on Wednesday, September 4, we will be performing a technical update on www.sodra.com. The work is expected to last until approximately 08:30, during which time the website will be closed to visitors. Minor disruptions may also occur throughout the rest of the day.
We simplify the building process by including experts within areas as fixings, acoustic malterials, forging, tapes, sealants, and moisture barriers.
Moisture protection
Wetguard
We offer SIGA Wetguard 200SA as protection for for our CLT joists. Wetguard is a self-adhesive and diffusion-open membrane that effectively protects CLT against moisture and dirt which facilitates the construction process.
Wetguard is applied to the panels in Södra's factory and protects the panels during transport and throughout the construction period. In the planning phase or in connection with the first delivery, the supplier SIGA always offers a free review. This is recommended and is done together with project managers from Södra.
Tape
We offer tape, both to protect end wood against moisture and tape needed as a seal during the assembly of CLT. We can facilitate assembly by taping the wood ends at the top and bottom of wall panels in our factory. The panels are delivered to the construction site protected from moisture during construction and prepared for contact with concrete.
Fixings
We offer wooden fastenings with associated system solutions such as acoustics, air and wind sealing for your project. To facilitate assembly, we guide you to take part in the most common products for construction in solid wood together with our partners Rothoblaas and Würth. They offer education, help with support and logistics as well as staff visits to the workplace.
