KVH structural timber

KVH structural timber is a building material from Germany with precisely defined product characteristics which have been developed especially to meet the requirements of modern timber construction. KVH is a kiln-dried finger-jointed product made of solid softwood and is strength-graded.

The performance of Engineered Wood Products can be accurately predicted which means we can fine tune a design so that exactly the right amount of product is employed for any given situation.

Södra Wood is a leading supplier of Engineered Wood Products to the UK market and has a wealth of experience in the storage, handling, and distribution of these high-quality materials.

Metal-Web joists have enjoyed huge growth in recent years and continue to grow. Matching lengths and sections to meet this demand can be challenging and the C24 and TR26 grades used are often lacking given the increased quality requirements of this application. This has driven an increased requirement for KVH material.
