C24 timber for carcassing
Södra is a leading supplier of high-quality, structural C24 carcassing timber – available in lengths from 2.4 to 6m. Our C24 carcassing timber can withstand the most demanding requirements and outperforms C16 timber for many applications. Denser, more durable and less prone to twisting or bowing, it’s perfect for construction and joinery applications.
CLS & Timber Frame Products
Our CLS and joisting products are available in a variety of sections and lengths ideally suited to the requirements of modern methods of construction. CLS products can also be manufactured at the sawmill precision end trimmed to length (PET) for customers who use consistent volumes on a regular basis.
Roof Truss and Metal Web Joist Products
Södra has a long history of supplying machine strength graded TR26 and KVH softwood to roof truss and metal web joist manufacturers from an extensive range of high quality products.
Battens Type A
We supply a top quality Type A batten sourced from only the best quality raw material. These battens are further treated with a high pressure copper-based treatment to BS 8417 UC2.
Battens BS5534
Our BS batten is fully graded to BS5534:2014+A1:2015. Its distinctive yellow colour means that it is highly visible, allowing our customers to distinguish our graded batten against any other type of batten.
Treated timber
We have 9 treatment facilities across our four Great Britain and Ireland distribution terminals deliver low and high-pressure timber impregnation.
