Take Care – Our delivery guarantee
Looks are everything
The Take Care standard focuses on logistics as you would expect, but a lot more too, from ensuring every shipment is correctly labelled and printed with the right barcode to the number of wires wrapped around the bale. We know how our pulp should look when it reaches you and we issue clear requirements to our partners in the supply chain, so they know what we expect. Since many customers use our pulp’s wrapping in their production, for example, we make it clear that even the wrapping must stay as clean and damage-free as possible. All our handlers know we insist you receive clean units of even height with their labels complete, wrapping intact and wires properly secured.
It’s all in the details
When it comes to transporting pulp, the little things really do matter. For example, we demand that load carriers and storage facilities for our pulp must be dry, clean and in good condition to minimize the risk of damage. Cargo holds on truck platforms and railroad cars must be clean and empty when loading commences and those on vessels must be clean and dry. When loading units, we ask for complete attention to detail, for example, that the floor must be cleaned regularly, and a compartment cleaned before new pulp is placed there. Clamps need to be clean and clamp lifts equipped with mud flaps in order to protect the units properly.
We could go on, but you’ve probably got the message: We care and we expect everyone handling your pulp to care. It’s all part of the service.
