Foreword: Value beyond the product
An increasing number of customers tell us that they would value more technical cooperation. It’s a message we often hear via the Sales teams, but one that is echoed by sustainability, logistics or technical staff. This is where our Technical Product Managers (TPMs) can step in.
Each of our four specialists has an area of particular technical expertise. All know how to make the most of our products and the possibilities within our wide portfolio of grades. The TPMs provide a link to our production teams and Innovation specialists. They’re here to offer support on everything from R&D projects and technical issues to day-to-day support and educational events.
Day-to-day support could include anything from trouble shooting to our benchmarking services. Our virtual refiner tool, for example, can help to optimise refining and minimise energy and productions costs. The TPMs can bring in teams from our Innovation labs to help develop new product ideas and talk through technical possibilities – everyone from our product experts and wood chemists to refining experts and papermakers.
Collaboration is more important than ever these days, whether it’s working towards Science-Based Targets, developing innovative new products or ensuring your mill is running as efficiently as possible. Being a supplier of choice means offering more than a delivery service. Ensuring that we are a reliable source of consistent, quality pulp is paramount, but we also aim to add value for our customers beyond the product itself.
